Everbridge: a fast-growing global provider of software in critical communications and safety solutions currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Manager Europe for our Central and Southern Europe regions. You will form part of the wider international HR team. The scope of this new role includes Central Europe (Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland) and Southern Europe (France, Spain, Italy) regions, which have seen recent acquisitions and will continue to see investment for ongoing organic growth.

What you’ll do:

  • Being an operational Business Partner with the sales, professional services and engineering leaders in the region to optimise (HR) policies and procedures
  • Work with the regional HR Generalist (in Budapest, Hungary) to resolve all employee and manager related issues and queries across the region.
  • Collaborate closely with the Global Total Rewards team to research, implement and administer competitive benefits, balancing employee attraction and engagement with effective expense management.
  • Support the Head of People, International in M&A activity – due diligence, deal close preparation, integration, and ongoing communication and engagement.
  • Potential in future to build small team as we scale.

What you’ll bring in experience is:

  • Employee Relations, including investigations, disciplinary processes, performance management, and policy writing & education.
  • Business Acumen: you understand the commercial and financial mechanics of the business and are able to hold a business-oriented conversation with leaders, in order to support them in making the best decisions for both Business and Bridgers.
  • Total Rewards: experience of implementing and administering benefits in the region would be advantageous, especially sales compensation experience.
  • HR processes and systems across the full employee experience.
  • M&A: Experience in HR aspects of acquisition due diligence and integrations.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and either French or German (ideally both!)

  • You are a seasoned HR manager/business partner within the region, with demonstrable experience in an international company.
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments with the ability to multi-task and juggle several priorities simultaneously, with a bias for action.
  • You have strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, you are friendly and approachable, and able to flex your style to collaborate effectively at all levels and different cultures of the organization within the different countries. You lead with humility and curiosity, to understand your stakeholders’ motivations, while staying true to your objectives and values.
  • You have strong accountability with excellent organisation skills, able to pay attention to detail, and flex your priorities to changing business needs while aligning strategically and commercially relevant goals.
  • You are resilient in the face of challenges, with strong learning agility and self-awareness to continuously learn and improve yourself and the way you work. You are skilled in providing constructive feedback and challenge with a view to improving overall Everbridge ways of working.
  • You are process-minded and passionate about continuously improving all People processes, policies and systems to balance employee-centricity, efficiency and scalability.
  • You have unwavering integrity and courage, with strong values that enable you to be comfortable making difficult decisions, to always “do the right thing”, enabling you to be a moral compass to all your stakeholders. But you still know how to have fun with your Bridger colleagues!

Additional Information:

Working hours: fulltime

Salary: approximately 95k.

Annual leave: 25 days annual leave for a full calendar year worked.

Location: this role will ideally based from the Tilburg or Deventer offices in the Netherlands with travel (every (other) month) to our offices across the region; or remote with regular travel to these offices and across the region.
